I got this 100ft leash because the one at home for my 50lb dog was short and kept clicking (when tight with Tree to tree it would go left or right and snap the hooks in) so I saw it would be easier than plastic/hard lines for travel and camping. The rope is strong and flexible, so if it is moved further there isn't too much tension to cause a possible break. It's long but worth it. She can now walk all over our yard and cover more distance if she has been in a cabin or campsite. I've used it for a full week in a cabin and three days camping and it seems to be working great! FYI there is no rope to attach your dog to, but I use a hard plastic rope and it works great with the two hooks she has. one could be for rope toys if you really want to, or two dogs!
