Lasting as it gets - Gentle, lasting exfoliation and cleansing

I would describe this exfoliating cleanser as a "supportive" product to use after you've cleaned up and rebalanced your face. This isn't an intense scrub that you use once or twice a week. This product effectively supports already healthy skin. It is not a dense concentration of particles, nor does it contain a high concentration of acid(s). It has a pleasant, light scent and is refreshing, but not necessarily invigorating. I can get a nice creamy and soft lather, and there are some particles embedded in this lather. The instructions say (at one point) to apply to face for one minute. I didn't need much more than a pea sized amount to get good coverage. Elsewhere it says to use a walnut-sized amount. It would be too much for the way I use it - I like to whip up a creamy lather for a minute or two and then rinse it out. If I used a walnut-sized amount, I would scrape off the thick suds just to get to the point where I could wash it off. Things in the sink will become a mess. So I'm not sure if the directions are wrong, but they can certainly confuse and mislead the person who insists on following the directions up to T despite logical observations. The video that appears on this product page is pretty much useless, but after 7-8 seconds you can catch a glimpse of the particles in the mix. There are several colored (green-blue) particles that dissolve when the product is applied to the face. There is no dense mixture of particles, but this product is advertised as a product that can be used every morning and every evening.
