I now have 4 wireless ANC headphones. I'm rating in this order: Headphones: Price - Sound - ANC - Comfort - Comments Bose QC 35 II: $349 - 5/5 - 4.9/5 - 4.7/5 - Unbelievable, best headphones I've ever had have used. They stay on my desktop. I've never used a mic on them before. AVANTREE aptX-HD: $100 - 4.7/5 - 4.2/5 - 4.6/5 - not sure you can beat them for the money JBL E65BTNC**: 4.8/5 - 4, 5/5 - 4.5/5 - an old model, this is very good but notorious for quality control issues. Mine were free for me. A bit tight, not the most comfortable for long term wear. Cowen E7: $60 - 3.8/5 - 4.3/5 - 4/5 - Decent enough for basic low-end ANC headphones. I heard the new ones are much better. ** @ $150 if I receive a gift as a thank you. about 60 dollars now. How I got the 4 sets: I bought a Cowen a few years ago to make it more comfortable to fly. I received JBL from my company as a 10th anniversary gift. I found Bose on a phenomenal deal and couldn't pass it up. I bought an Avantree specifically for the boom mic to use on conference calls from my home office. Pros: The sound quality of this headset is excellent. ANC is pretty good. I've been told that the boom mic's sound quality is very good, much better than JBL and much, much better than Cowen. I can wear them for hours without getting tired. Bad: The mute LED on the microphone arm went out after a few minutes. If I rotate the boom of the microphone away from my face, the connection seems to be lost, then I have no microphone. The headset switches perfectly from music on my computer to an incoming call on my cell phone, but when the call ends the music pulsates as if buffering. This is very annoying as it's one of the features I wanted. Everything resets perfectly with a quick power cycle. Support said they are switching from phone to phone but there are problems with the computer's bluetooth, not much help. Final Thoughts. At the time of writing this review I have been using the Avantree aptX-HD headphones for 2 weeks. If they last I would definitely recommend them and buy them again.
