These are my favorite active shoes for my kids and I keep buying them when my kids outgrow them! Children's shoes can cost) - They are very light - The sole is very flexible - The toe box is not too tight - They clean up very well after mud splashing (I used a cold cycle in the washing machine, a short cycle on low heat with a towel tumble dry then air dry to finish) - Elastic laces + velcro strap makes it easy to put on for my kids (particularly helpful for my 3 year old who MUST do everything. Additional note: they do wear a hole in the toe, after all, but I have not listed this as AGAINST because it happens to all of my kids' shoes, no matter the brand (because my kids keep dragging their toes on their bikes!) and it actually took longer than I expected. I thought the dimensions were pretty I ordered 11M's for my 5 year old who wears 11's in both Cat & Jack and Native shoes and they fit very well hey applies to my 3 year old, i ordered 9M for him, he wears 9 in Cat & Jack and they fit perfectly. if that gives you any idea of how they hold up!
