I'm someone who likes to keep the interior of my car clean, including the floor mats. I have regular black carpet mats and love to keep them clean which can be difficult when salt gets into the car from outside in the winter. I've always used plastic floor mats to put on my good carpets, but the ones I used had a terrible plastic smell that never went away and they got slippery. I decided to look into different rugs and have always had good success with Armor All products, so decided to give these a try. I bought black mats and they look very sharp. There are four in total: two large front mats and two small rear mats. The mats attach at the top and you will need a good pair of scissors to cut through the rubber material. The two front mats measure (without modification other than cutting out of the box) 26 inches long and 19 inches wide. They have two orange claws on the bottom to keep them in place. The rear mats measure (again unchanged) 15 inches long and 17 1/2 inches wide. The back mats don't have claws to keep them in place. I did not keep the packaging so I cannot confirm the country of origin or the material these rugs are made from. I have a 2008 Ford Fusion SE and these floor mats fit my car perfectly without the need for additional rubber cutting! All I had to do was cut off the parts attached to the packaging and put them in the machine. The black color goes perfectly with the black interior of my car. I really like that these rugs don't smell awful. There was a gummy smell when I first put them on but it went away after a while, also I have air fresheners in my car which helps too. These mats have grooves and patterns to prevent wet, snowy shoes from slipping while driving. Mine had a lot of salt on them but I recently pulled them out, hosed them down with a jet sprayer and they cleaned up great. I put them in the sun to dry and they dried within 15 minutes. You can also clean them if necessary. The only reason I'm giving these rugs four stars instead of five is because they don't seem to stay in place. They don't move much due to the claws on the front mats, but they still move a little. However, they are easy enough to return. The rear mats have no claws. So if you have children or other people who regularly sit in the back seat, these mats will move as well. Overall, I think these floor mats are very good and I find them very useful if you want to protect your car mats or just want something new. I've been using them for almost five months now and they are still in excellent condition. The smell goes away after a while, the black color is sharp, they're easy to clean, and they even fit in your car without having to redo them! I wish they wouldn't move but given the price I think I can put them back in place. The floor mats in my car have been kept clean thanks to these mats and I plan to use them in my car all year round. If you are looking for rubber mats this is a good and affordable option and I recommend it!
