They used transparent elastics in the shoulder seams for stabilization; However, they didn't sew it properly. You pulled/stretched the seams while sewing which resulted in fraying which in turn caused chafing. I'm sure they thought it was a good idea, similar to high end clothing, but it won't work unless you sew it without stretching the fabric. I had to cut off the ends that were sticking out like the ends of a fishing line.
