We ordered size XL as we thought it would run small. Your chest/bust is listed as 41.5"-43" for XL. It measures just under 32 inches at the widest chest. It could stretch up to 43 inches, but it would be too tight to breathe. The material looked like it would stretch, but we didn't even want to try. This would have made the material transparent from stretching that much and we didn't order it to scream on the chest. If you have a 31-36 inch bust, I would definitely choose XL. If you are purchasing this as part of a suit please note that unlike the body suit pictured there is an undecorated turtleneck which means you will have to paint over or cut it out if I add neck and face makeup. It's cute and we would have kept it if it had actually been cut to the width stated in the description.
