Buy lots of batteries

Information says three batteries will last a year if turned on 10 times a day. Well, they can last a year, but you get bright light for less than a month, and then they turn very dim and yellow. I will be buying rechargeable batteries as my budget can't afford to keep buying batteries for the two lightbulbs I bought. Ps already had to return a light as it just flashes on and off. There is no permanent light.
