Bought these towels a few days ago after doing a little research on what to look for in a good towel. I've never specifically aimed for my towels to be crimp-free. The towels arrived in appropriate packaging, not a single towel was damaged. I wash and dry them twice before using them - the first wash and dry had a lot of lint as expected (this goes for any towel); The second wash had less lint. The towels are quite thick and a bit bigger than my last towels. Used after shower today and it dried my body with no problem. Is the decorative stripe shrinking? probably - it shrinks on every other towel I've ever bought. Softness will decrease after a year or two? probably. but if you are looking for good, everyday towels these are a good choice imo. If they wear out or other towels need replacing I will definitely come back to buy new ones. $11 for a towel of this quality is quite reasonable. You can pay up to $94 for a towel. My skin isn't sensitive enough to pay that much for a towel that I use 10 minutes a day. All in all, if you're the sensible type and are looking for a quality product (but maybe not the best product) at a good price - I see no reason why you wouldn't like this once you realize you'll get them probably want to replace in two years or so. Not sure what the negative reviews are about - at this price I am more than happy with this purchase.
