This is a decent point and shoot camera. I took it with me on a recent trip to Italy as I needed something with a strap so I couldn't drop it and gave it to strangers so they could take pictures without risking dropping my phone. We've used both this camera and my phone, and honestly I'd rather use a phone. This camera was fine for outdoor use, but the shots inside weren't that great. Also, when first turned on, the camera took the first picture quite slowly, making it difficult to take a quick picture at times. Sharing pictures over Wi-Fi was a great addition. Basically you turn the camera into a Wi-Fi hub and then connect your phone to it. You then use the app on your phone to view the images and download the ones you want. It was convenient to transfer a few photos to upload to Facebook, but it was much easier to just pop the SD card into the computer when we got home to transfer the rest. All in all it was a good purchase for our trip. I won't say it took better pictures than my phone, but it was nice to have a dedicated camera that was easier (and cheaper) for strangers to use.
