Got what I was expecting, although I would say it is medium density foam, not high density. Adds the extra bit of padding to my foam mattress that I was looking for. Item arrived in a box that was not sealed with any packing tape whatsoever but was only held closed by one plastic band that went around the box. This allowed dirt to get into the box. The foam itself was all folded up and did have a poor excuse for plastic wrapping around it. Some of the foam was inside the wrapping and some was not, leaving it exposed to the dirt that found its way into the box.
