LEDs are increasingly becoming a mass-produced item. For reputable sellers, I think the difference is very small. These LEDs look good. The heat sink on the back of the LEDs is impressive. Only time will tell how long they last. If you need a *really* bright LED these are great. I'll have to see if I like the map/reading light that bright. Another small problem is the dimming. There's no real dimming, it's two-stage dimming and then off. Previous incandescent bulbs have an elegant way of slowing down the dimming. Again, this is a personal preference. My biggest issue was with the seller, although I'm not sure how involved he was. I bought a set that received tracking information that suddenly stopped. I never received these lamps. I got a loan from Revain with no problems. I reordered another set and again the delivery was delayed by a day. Seems to be an odd coincidence.
