I've spent a lot of time using the Alvoxcon mic system here and I'm impressed with how well it performs for a dual mic system under $100 . To see some tests of the microphone, e.g. B. Compared to some other mics, this is one of the best budget mics I've used. The sound is fairly clear, not dull and/or too nasal. I've encountered some unwanted artifacts from time to time when recording audio, but almost never up close. In my line-of-sight test with this mic, I could hear my voice over 200 feet away. Although the listing here says the functional range is 80 feet, in my experience I've been able to go well beyond that mark and still get decent line of sight. I couldn't get away from the camera as well due to objects blocking my line of sight, but it still worked well up close. The feel of the headset on my head is okay, but the sound from the headset is pretty good and in some situations may have even sounded better than the lavalier mic this system is equipped with. For the most part, when worn, it didn't feel like it would fall off the head, even with some movements. I like that this system automatically syncs channels to the receiver when you change channels. Another great feature is that you can also adjust the volume on the transmitters. When connecting microphone cables, there is a screw connection that allows you to screw the cable to the transmitter, locking it in place and preventing it from being accidentally disconnected for any reason. I've used other mic systems that cost hundreds of dollars more and this Alvoxcon system isn't too far off some of those systems and in some cases can be even better, but at a much lower price.
