It's a little hard to explain but I thought my experience might be useful for others. I had a lot of self tanners and really liked them so I bought a bronze tan self tanner. My husband has experience with a spray gun so this part was easy for him. I recommend everyone who uses it to watch a video that explains how to apply a suntan. The only color available was dark, so we used that. My husband put it too tight around my neck and it was easy to wipe off the excess. That's very condescending. The surprise came when I looked in the mirror! I was DARK! The instructions said to wait the prescribed amount of time depending on how dark I wanted it. I was a little nervous, so after an hour I just showered with water. I didn't tan at all at first, but some color came through overnight and it's looking pretty good now. I am happy with the system, if a medium tan solution was available I would order it. I recommend the machine and the solution, gather the information first, trust me, watch the video and take your time.
