This belt has a nice and solid construction. I ordered a 2 sizes bigger than my pant size (as suggested by others) and it fit almost perfectly. It is very important to choose the right size because the zipper runs from the holes to the belt buckle. Therefore, it would be difficult to change its size. I had to fold the bills very tightly (about 1/2 inch up), but my strap easily fit at about 10 inches. Chances are you could fit twice as much if needed. I used it in France to carry cash with me in case we lose our cards or get cancelled. None of that happened, but it was nice to know I had a backup.
