Review on πŸͺ‘ Fold-A-Way Tapestry Footrest with Adjustable Design by Tara Farmer

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Note construction

I didn't believe the negative reviews as there were so many but they were absolutely right. It's a lot more orange than pictured, the tapestry (textured fabric) is very poor quality and very easy to pill, and the color is a lot duller than pictured. In addition, it is not rounded at the top, but flat. The worst is the construction; The bottom frame has slots for the vertical pieces but the top frame doesn't and they can slip and it will collapse. If you have hands you can make cuts and it will be much stronger. Someone mentioned sitting on it; no, it's not strong enough for that. I gave it 2 stars because I was going to restore it anyway and didn't intend to use it upright so it makes a great footstool. I also use it to roll things from one part of the house to another as I can't move things from one point to another. I added some longer and stronger wheel bolts and I would suggest putting the locking wheels at a cat angle to each other to keep them from rolling. I didn't and it still moves in the locked position. I paid about $25.00 at another store and will never pay more than this item.
