Review on Samsung DVD V9800 Tunerless Upconverting Player by Isaiah Edgar

This product has worked great for the first few months. The upconvert feature worked well with the movies we watched. Then suddenly the DVD player started to fail. After loading the DVD player it hung in the menu, apparently a problem with the laser. The labor guarantee was only valid for 3 months, so we ran out of money. I do not recommend this product. This is my second bad experience with Samsung. My brother has a 47 inch LCD TV. The TV worked well with the PS3 (Blu-ray and video games were fantastic) but when it came to watching satellite or terrestrial TV it was fine until you started watching sports. Then the ball flies a lot (I watched all sports except football). The TV is 60/120 but it didn't matter which setting was on (although 120 helped). So let's hope that Samsung's future products will be better since they have such an attractive price.
