Seems ok. I usually leave it plugged in. I haven't used my laptop that much lately, but this adapter doesn't get as hot as the original. I also have a USB-C to USB-C direct charging cable and a regular phone charger. for an outlet that works in an emergency. There is also a car adapter for this. But it takes forever to charge the battery and there's no surge protection like there is in this style. Get a power converter for your car and plug in what you want.
