Exactly what I wanted - a little case that fits in a small backpack and carries camera, batteries and memory card. It works well for this, with a bit of headroom. The only issue I have is that it's not big enough to hold the camera while attached to its extra large strap - this Black Rapid's sturdy strap (which I love) comes with a very secure ( non-rotating) stand attached to the camera that screws into the base of the tripod and makes the camera too long to fit in the bag. Luckily, the strap attachment detaches quickly, allowing me to carry the strap in my backpack, slip the camera into my carrying case, and then simply screw the strap back on when I'm ready to use the camera.
