I use these to plug holes and gaps in cables and wires leading to my observatory telescope. Copper cannot be eaten by mice and copper does not rust. I remove the staple holding the mesh into a ball and unroll it into the copper mesh tube that makes up the washcloth. Then I can cut the mesh tube and fill gaps and holes with it if necessary. I also used copper mesh tubing to make an ESD shield around the cabinet door. The only thing is that I don't use it to wash dishes. One star off because it's a bit pricey for what you get.
