Due to lack of space on my desk I was looking for a laptop stand to place my work laptop on the floor under my desk (it connects to a monitor and wireless keyboard/mouse). Since it will mostly be invisible I didn't need anything special and this stand was perfect for the job. It was cheap, worked to lift the laptop off the carpet to keep it from overheating. I especially like the small holes to help airflow. I was surprised that it requires some assembly, but it's very easy. You only need to screw on 2 legs and everything is included in the box including a small wrench. Looks very durable. Doesn't wobble on carpet even though the laptop isn't very heavy.
