At first I thought it might not fit cards due to the gap I noticed without stretching it. In fact it can only fit one card as shown in one of my pictures. I used 3 cards as another test. So the way it works is that the rubber band is slightly smaller than the card and stretches as the card is inserted. All pockets were snug and there was no problem with the card falling out, even if it was just one. Another nice benefit of this is that it's soft and easily fits in the same pocket as your phone without scratching your phone like a metal case. If you're worried about RFID issues, you can always use the metal plates used in phone cases for the magnetic holder on the outside of the cards (they're the same 3x5 card size), but inside the rubber band. I don't think I would trust the one in my back pocket because it's so small. Definitely a front pocket or socket pocket holder.
