Review on Chemical Guys AIR_300 Scent Leather by Doug Hook

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Leave the new car, take the canoli.

Er. skin, take skin! (But skip the new car!) The new car has a pungent, chemical smell that is overpowering and just plain gross. It smells like the exhaust from all those cancer-causing chemicals they used to build your car, which you really don't want to know about. You'll quickly get used to the experience of driving with all windows back while trying to air out the chemistry lab you just turned your car into. Unfortunately, that (awful) smell is of the same high quality as other Chemical Guys products. It doesn't fade quickly, leaving you feeling like you're inhaling deadly toxins for weeks on end while driving. If I were to buy a new car with the same smell, I would return it to the dealer. I would also probably call the EPA to let them know about the potential driver health hazard. The leather scent, on the other hand, smells wonderful! It's like walking into a shoe or saddle shop and smelling new, treated leather. This will make your car smell like you just installed new leather seats. Or, if you still dream of being a cowboy, it's like you just got a new saddle and boots. If you already have leather seats, your car will be like new again. If you don't have leather seats, you'll embarrass your passengers like hell, but they'll still enjoy the pleasant smell. (Just tell them you bought some new guys.) Like the smell of a new car, the smell goes on and on (except it's not gross). It's a warm, comforting scent that will make any commute (even commute) that little bit more comfortable. Overall, you'll save yourself some money and a headache (new car smell is literally that bad) and just go for the leather scent yourself. Ditch the new car, go for the leather car.
