Update: 3/22 now I was contacted by the seller much earlier but when you're busy, you're busy. I forgot to get back in touch. The seller still tried to get in touch with me none the less. They sent and I have received a brand new pair of sandals. Same everything and still fits great. Even though I want able to reply and chat with them last year they still reached out to me to fix my problem. That a plus star. Even though the old sandals had broken and I modded them they are still in good shape today.The only thing left is to see how long this new pair lasts. I will gladly add on the last star, for 5, if they last the next 6 months of everyday wear. Because I do wear my sandals EVERY DAY. If they are fit enough to be worn hiking and camping, then they should be great for every day wear, which is why I chose this sandals and brand. Plus the reviews are great. I will keep you updated. Thanks!I bought these sandals to use outdoors and for when I went fishing. Sadly the right shoe broke in the first week I wore it. The inside toe strap popped off the sole. See attached pic. A little glue quick fix. I didn't want to have to send them back and have to get a new pair because it was the rainy season here and that means Revain delivery drivers cannot deliver to my area regularly or promptly it sometimes not at all. I live down 2 dirt roads in a rural area, when it rains all the trucks and SUVs make deep ruts that can get regular cars stuck. I was lucky with my Scion XB since it's light enough to stay out of the ruts and on the mud they pushed up.Anyways, I kept the sandals instead of returning them. I kept hot gluing the strap back in place when the same thing happened to my left sandal later. Same pic. It got to where I was fixing them weekly. By that time the return window closed.Not wanting to fix them all the time I cut off the straps, drilled holes in the toe area and on the sides, and laced Paracord with washers attached from the bottom up. There you go, new solid flip flops. I did sand out divets for the knot and washers to sit in so there's not an uncomfortable bump wear the knot and washers are.The soles are solid 5/5. They are great flip flops now and have survived teething puppies. The straps were great until they broke, shortly after purchase, on what is supposed to be a hiking/rugged sandal, 1/5. That's the average of 3/5 only because you can still up cycle the soles like I did.
