I was immediately annoyed when I opened the packaging. It was obvious that this wasn't a rubber case. Hard plastic case with "matte” finish. I decided to go ahead and check it out. I'll update my review if I decide to keep it after a while. The cover snaps easily onto my MacBook Pro model a1708. The top cover is awesome. The flowers appear to be glued to matte plastic. I hope they don't get scratched with use. As already mentioned, the white legs on the underside are an exception. They must match the base and be black. The keyboard cover is thin and feels comfortable when typing. Unfortunately, it opens even with light use and doesn't rest on the keys. Dust plugs are good. They fell out a few times but I guess that's because I hit them moving my laptop. I wasn't concerned about the screen cover as I didn't purchase this set for that option. If I use it I will update it too. For the price I would order something else if it wasn't rubberized. It's too expensive for what it is. I can order something else if I can find a real rubberized case within thirty bucks.
