The design of this combo allows you to store the plunger and brush in a relatively unobtrusive black plastic base that hides all the 'working' parts. That's why I ordered this product. When the product arrived I found that the handles had to be screwed into either the brush or plunger. Each of them has a different-sized hole, so choosing a handle for the product was not difficult. I think the handles could be a little shorter than others I've had, but overall that's not a problem. The rubber part and plunger design looks spectacular on most toilets. I haven't had to use it yet, but I have every reason to expect it to be tight and working properly. The brush design is plain and simple, the bristles are black. I'm not sure how well they will hold up over time. The negative side of this product is the potential lifespan of the brush. Once the brush wears out, everything becomes useless unless the manufacturer provides replacement brush heads. The design of the brush is quite unique, so you are unlikely to find another suitable one. However, since they're so cheap, I think the plan is to ditch the entire set and replace them entirely. I haven't had it long enough to comment on the expected lifespan of the brush. If the brush holds up well I would consider ordering it again. If it goes flat or wears out quickly I probably won't be ordering this set again. On this basis, I cannot make any recommendations in one direction or the other at the moment.
