The colors are more beautiful in person.
My friend and I originally bought one of the Masquerade and one of the Magic and wanted to pull out the metal palettes to swap for the colors we like the most (fortunately we have opposing interests regarding colors and could make an equal division). However, when we received our palettes we liked all the colors so much that we decided to buy our own rather than swapping individual colors. Now I have both magic and masquerade, and I'm very happy with that decision.
