In the last few days I have been assembling two TV mounts and this shelf. IMHO the screws included with this product are very poor quality (very soft metal - much softer than similar screws that come with TV mounts). The biggest problem are the two screws holding the bracket that supports the glass shelf. It was not possible to tighten them enough to eliminate play - the mount will rotate. (In my opinion, this is both a design flaw and a screw issue.) The shelf will stick out a bit from the side, so I decided not to take it apart and return it. However, every time it bumps (even slightly), it needs to be leveled. Interestingly, the instructions say to drill 2" into the bolt, but the screws are much longer than 2". You will need some force to fully screw the screws in. The screws were soft metal, so I was afraid I would rub off the head, making the task more difficult. The instructions say to remove the protective coating from the glass shelf. There was no protective cover.
