Tight in the Shoulders but Overall a Nice Shirt

Since moving to a warm climate I have pretty much banned cotton shirts from my wardrobe. Now I only buy & wear what I call "slippery shirts" which are usually a combination of polyester and Spandex. They look pretty much the same wet or dry so don't show sweat, they're light-weight, and they dry really quick which is great since I line-dry everything. They also have a more flattering fit than a cotton tee and come in better colors & patterns than you can usually find in a regular tee. So I am a big fan of this type shirt and really liked the look of this one, with the color-blocking pattern and the slenderizing stripe under the arm.Choosing a size is always hard for me because I have odd proportions (6' tall, 140#, 31 waist but 38 bust) but going off their size chart I decided on a Medium. And it actually fits nicely in the torso & bust areas (neither sloppy loose nor obscene tight), but it is too tight across the shoulders which causes the neckline to also rub me the wrong way. My husband says it LOOKS nice on me, but because it doesn't fit right through the shoulders it's uncomfortable to wear. (I've been told I have broad shoulders for a woman though so I'm not going to knock this shirt for not fitting me there.) Because of this, I'd say, if in doubt, order a size up.Speaking of the shoulders: The collar seam on this shirt is black but the stitching is not tight enough (forgive me, I am not a seamstress so not sure of the proper terminology here) so where it goes over the white shoulder part of the shirt, you can see the white through the black seam (see pic). Not an issue function-wise, but visually, it cheapens the appearance of an otherwise very nice shirt. I'm docking one star for that but otherwise I have no complaints with this shirt (it's not their fault I have odd proportions).
