When I first put this on, I immediately thought to myself, wow this is pretty comfy. After washing though, it became a little rough. It took a fair amount of shaking and slapping to get it somewhat soft again. I'll keep wearing it because it's comfy around the house, but it's a bit of work to keep it soft and wearable YMMV. If I could go back in time I'd probably just hand wash it and hang it out to dry.
