Review on 🔌 LandingZone 16-Port Docking Station for 16-inch MacBook Pro (A2141 Model, 2019 Release) by Erik Sanders

Doesn't go through Thunderbolt 3 ports, it's just a USB-C pass-through port. This makes it virtually useless with Thunderbolt 3 devices. I have 2 27 inch Thunderbolt displays and thought it would be nice to have a docking station. You can't convert a display port to Thunderbolt 2, you can't use the very expensive Apple Thunderbolt 3 to Thunderbolt 2 to USB-C adapter. Also, all USB-C ports are "noisy" for professional audio interfaces. may have a metal frame but as far as I know this is a giant plastic building block. There are better solutions for a lot less money. USB-C is great for a lot of my uses, but I want to use my expensive 27" Thunderbolt 2 monitors, which this dock just can't do.
