The volume difference is too big
This is a great alternative to the shusher we have used in the past. I like that it has the option to change the noise it produces to white noise or a heartbeat, although I usually just use a hiss. It's reasonably portable, although the silicone appearance makes it a bit more difficult to fit into a diaper bag than if it were hard plastic. My biggest problem is that when I try to turn up the volume, I think it's going too far. I usually just explain it by taking it away from the baby, but here it would be nice to have more granular control.
