This bag set comes in four different sizes with four cute holiday designs. The size of the smallest pocket is 8 x 12 inches. The rest are 12x16, 16x20, and a whopping 36x44 inches. Plastic bags, similar to garbage bags. At first they smell, but air out quickly. All but the smallest bags will fold and show creases, even when the bags are full of presents. Nylon cords are tied at the top to close the pockets. They have metal on the end to keep them from wearing out. They're like shoelaces. Since the bags don't have a channel for pulling cords, you have to leave a lot of bag overhang at the top, otherwise the bag will slip right out of the knotted cord. The set also includes four gift tag templates. They don't quite match the design of the bags but still have a cute design. They have holes in the corner to put a tie through, but they are tightened and the hole is punched very close to the edge. I had two breaks before the edge. I've found that it's best to use a hole punch to make your own hole big enough to fit a tie. All in all, these bags are good for wrapping bulky gifts that don't fit in other gift bags or boxes.
