It really helped me in the sun especially when driving. It also reduces the amount of air conditioning used in the park to keep the car at 37 degrees Celsius since I'm parking outdoors. The installation went fine once I got the hang of it. I opened it up from the outside of the car and slipped it through the back of the Model Y with all the seats up. I found this to be the best way to slip it in. Then I cut the back side first and moved forward. A second hand might have helped, but I managed it myself in about 5-10 minutes. The included pouch and clip holder is good for when I want to pack it up.
