My Xbone's power supply stopped working so I bought it to replace it. Here are some things you might know about it: * While it looks like the bundle that came with the Xbox One, it's not an exact replica. The standard delivery has several ventilation openings on the sides of the case. This replacement power supply does not have these vents; It has small nicks in the case in the same places, but they don't go through the plastic, so they're only cosmetic. So you can't use a standard cable with a new power supply. The replacement cord is approximately 1 inch shorter than the original power cord, in case that affects your decision at all. It makes an audible buzz just by sitting idle without the console turned on. But the good news is that I plugged it in and my console is now powered on! So it works! If any of the above becomes an issue (I'm most worried about potential heat build-up due to fake vents), I'll have to revisit this review. [NEW] After three months the feed is still working. However, it is quite noisy; not enough to be heard while gaming or watching TV, but when the console is off the PS audio is annoyingly audible in a quiet room. [NEW x2] Is this still for sale? I would be surprised. After that, over the course of a few years, the PSU became louder than white noise and I had to set the XBone to turn off completely instead of going into momentary on mode to force the PSU to shut down. The system also turns on several times a day, which from what I can read on the subject is a sign of poor power delivery. A quick "Xbox turn off" yell solves this problem, but it's still very annoying. It has never given me any problems while playing, but if this continues I will look for a better replacement. Maybe someone has made one in the last few years.
