I love this coat!: Jackets & Coats

I ordered the coat in my normal size and it fits perfectly. A lot of the other brands I tried this season had a skinny fit so I tended to go up a size from my normal size to wear my winter gear underneath. This was not the case. I like thin hands. They are deliberately not overcrowded for better freedom of movement. I love the hood that stays on your head even if you don't close it under your chin. This is the best hood I have ever had (no laces) and keeps out drafts and cold on exceptionally rough days. I've received compliments on the unique stitching. Most other coats of this style feature a square pattern. This is a tasty twist on that; especially the sleeves. The jacket has 6 outside pockets and one inside pocket. I like that the 2 outer pockets protrude a bit from the coat so your belongings (like keys or wallet) don't press into your body. I almost bought the similar coats from Marmot and North Face but couldn't find them in stock. Having tried two other brands and now owning this one, I'm glad the other two were out of stock. It was a great find. This coat has a superior fit and features compared to the other two brands. It's easy to wash, which is great if you're bumping into salty car doors or carrying little kids around. I live in the sometimes harsh climate of St. Paul, Minnesota. Sub-zero temperatures can't keep up with this toaster. I'm fairly active in this coat (skating, shoveling, etc) although I prefer the shorter style for sledding and skiing. I have no complaints about this coat. If you want to stay warm and look good in a coat that weighs about 1 pound, buy the Isis. I love it!
