Review on BTSKY Grey Zipper Pencil Case - High Capacity Multi-Functional Stationery Pouch with 72 Slots, Portable Pencil Bags and 2 Removable Sleeves for Colored Pencils by Amanda Johnson

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Convenient, 4-5 liners fit before I need them.

Not what I expected although I gave it an extra star for being able to get it to hold multiple types of pens. In fact, it's only intended for use with standard pens. While the various brush pens/markers barely fit in the loops, you certainly can't fit a whole bunch, let alone 72. It has 3 "sleeves" for pens and 2 are removable (velcro). Each sleeve has 12 slots on each side. It's a real agony getting my Staedtler liners in and out. The MOST IMPORTANT disadvantage for me. Which is a bit crazy considering these fineliners are designed from the ground up with a damn narrow barrel. Conveniently, 4-5 fineliners fit in before I have to skip a loop. I somehow included handles so I can keep the color groups together. loops for handles are sewn unevenly; allowing larger handles to be tucked in, albeit only in a few places (the loops look wobbly towards the edge of the first sleeve). the back of the last sleeve. Or you can remove the 3rd sleeve and have a small space for loose items. When all 3 cases are used I can only fit 6 Sparkle Noir brushes and 3 markers into the back of the case. OR alternatively with 3 used cases and larger items in the back the front zippered mesh compartment becomes even more useless. With this setup the damn case won't close and the top/front is rough. I should have paid more attention to the performance as the case is too wide for my liking. I can't remember what sizes are listed, but whatever it is, add another inch or so to the width after it's filled/filled with supplies. I wanted something I could pack in my Tombow tote bag (which is huge); That doesn't fit because I also have a 96-count marker stand and other materials in my bag that take up space. Pictured alongside my Kindle and a Starbucks can to give an idea of the scale. Every time I open it my erasers and front pencil fall out. Only the grid area remains. It really keeps my OCD from having to reorganize itself every time I open the case. I took pictures of a few of my other pens to show which ones fit. While the following fit definitely took some effort and my fingertips didn't appreciate the action: Tombow Dual Brush, Micron, Uni-Ball Signo, Inkjoy Gel, Faber-Castell Artist, Tombow Fudenosuke, Sharpie Neon & Ultra Fine, Zebra Midliner, Pentel Sign, Marvy Le Plume II Double Sided, Kuretake Metallic, Jelly Gel. (max.) via the front and/or rear compartment. I kept the case because I don't want to rearrange all my pens, but I'm still looking for a slimmer case that has room for my thicker brushpens, holds everything in place, uses the whole body, and doesn't have as difficult handles insert/remove.
