No volume control! (Updated 10/27/2020)

Just bought a pair of Otium headphones and they were great apart from the lack of a headphone volume control. BUG - Decided to try OFUSHO Bluetooth 5.0 Deep Bass headphones for a little less money - they had a volume control. Error on my part. The functions worked well on them, but most of the time the devices showed spatter and distortion even at very, very low volumes. Reconnecting the bluetooth rarely affected the splash and never the sound quality or volume. OTIUM COMPARISON - Sound comparison including sound quality, available volume without excessive distortion and comfort - Otium is MUCH better. So if I need to change the volume on Otiums a few times, I just pause my music, open Google Assistant, verbally change the volume, and go back to my music. (Yes, other assistants work!) For the money, they sound pretty good. There's bass with a fair amount of clarity, and unless you crank the gain or clip it, the bass is solid enough for such a small driver. Other frequencies are good - and you'll agree, most of us can use the equalizer depending on the device and music taste. Anyone expecting them to sound like headphones will be very disappointed. These are small handy devices for city transport, work in the yard or in the wood workshop. They don't have to be an audiophile's dream. Keeping this in mind will do you good! I am leaving Otiums and sending back OFUSHO headphones. I'm not the type to buy a few products just to "try". I have a feeling this will only drive up the prices. To be honest, very few will be acceptable in this price range. So if you find one that works for you, stop hunting. I can live with the missing volume control. Later - (Update 10/27/2020) - About 5 weeks later I sent a message to the retailer that devices were not charging properly when placed in a case. Yes, I cleaned the contacts. even left the battery case plugged in for a few days. I would take them out and charge 40-50%. After only using them 10-15 times I found it strange. No response from dealer/company, so useless. Buying a pair from another seller this month as I need headphones. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME.
