The MARCHWAY Ultralight Folding Tent Camping Cot is a budget-friendly alternative to more expensive brands.I've only used this on a couple overnight backpacking and camping trips and so far it has served it's purpose - keeps you off the ground and provide an option to using closed cell or inflatable pads.Set up was easy and the materials used seem to be sturdy enough. The feet are shock corded so no struggling with what piece goes with what (I would suggest installing the middle feet first and move your way outwards). Can't say anything about its longevity as I have only used it a few nights. The sleeping surface is taut and provide somewhat stiff/firm support (perhaps gets softer after more uses). However, the head and foot area of the cot has more slack so if you are a taller individual your head and feet may rest lower than the rest of your body. I am 5'7 so I was able to scoot down a little and did not affect my sleep at all and at around 27" wide and around 6 inches off the ground, it's wide enough that you don't feel like you are falling off like you sometimes do on some sleeping pads. The base is wide enough as well to minimize the chances of flipping over.I used to use a full sized cot for my car camping trips and this can save you a lot of space and weight.Overall, I think this is a good piece of gear. The $70 cost doesn't break the bank. I would not take in on longer backpacking trips (you could if your base weight is low enough and have room for this luxury item).
