I bought these for my 13 month old. We could not find any shoes that he would leave on, so daycare suggested these. After wearing them to daycare the day after we received them, he came home with marks around his ankles where they rubbed him. He did have socks on. So, the next day, we used thicker and taller socks. After changing socks, we have not had anymore issues with that. I did use the self adhesive non slip pads, but they came off after 2 weeks of daily use at daycare. They do seem to be a bit slippery on vinyl and hardwood flooring. They are fine outside and on carpet. He seems to not realize they are on, and he cannot get them off. He has been wearing them daily as his main pair of shoes for about 2 months now. Overall, we are happy with these shoes, I just wish there was a nonslip bottom. I gave 4 stars due to not having a nonslip bottom.
