The leather feels much less "stiff" than other genuine leather belts that have I own. I doubt. it will hold up. (return). The color of the "brown" belt was also a lot redder than expected. It's not necessarily a bad thing when it's advertised that way. I already have a reddish-brown belt and was looking for a classic dark brown.
