I've searched long and hard for a warm, cozy bed for both of my litters. This bed is definitely big enough for the two of them, but since winter hasn't come yet (when they're going to snuggle up together), they still like their own space, so I'm going to buy another of these snugglers. Little Bobble (4 pounds) loves to crawl deep into the bed when shaped like the picture; like a bowl. But the very bottom isn't soft, so I lay it out so that the sides are down. It's hard to explain, but you would understand if you bought this bed. That is absolutely doable. The only thing that really bothers me is that I can't see her in him, she's so buried in him. I'm even afraid that she will suffocate there! I tested her a lot because she really, really likes to lie in this bed. I hope she's smart enough to know that if she can't breathe, she needs to at least raise her head, but it still scares me. My 8 lb dad prefers the bed to be shaped like a sleeping bag. He lay down on it too. The inside is super soft and fluffy while the outside has a comfortable canvas feel that stays cool and sometimes needs to be cooler than warmer. This is a very versatile bed and would be just perfect in winter when our bedroom is cold and these boys are sleeping on the floor. Now they can sleep in warmth and comfort, together or separately, and I can sleep peacefully knowing they can too! I highly recommend this bed for small pets. Note: none of my cats liked the bed. They both checked it multiple times, but I think the fact that they couldn't see around them made it difficult for them to bury themselves in it, and might even be too hot for them. One was on her outside on the tarpaulin, but they didn't like the bed at all. I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because of the flat, uncomfortable bottom and the high price. For such a price one could attach a lining. If it keeps my kids warm and happy it's worth every penny!
