I had previously purchased these leggings in 2020 but they were not fleece lined. They were great and I wore them several times over the years. Recently however I noticed that the material at the inner thigh area was peeling off. There was still a layer under the peeling but it was more sheer so needless to say I needed a new pair.Enter the fleece lined pair. I didn’t realize that when I purchased a second time they were fleece lined though I wasn’t mad about it when I realized. It means I could wear it with my oversized sweaters through the so cal winter without feeling too cold. They definitely have kept me warm so far.My biggest issue with this second pair is that they smelled horrible out of the bag - like fish or something. Even leaving them out didn’t dissipate the smell. Definitely wash them a couple times before you wear them or risk feeling self conscious all day long.I did purchase the small because that was the size I had in the original pair but the second pair seemed a bit tighter due to the lining probably. The small fit but I might repurchase in Medium.
