This is by far the loudest bell option I've purchased for my hybrid commuter bicycle. I've had a couple of other ones, but this one goes on my commuter bike to keep me safe. I usually track on paved roads and some light gravel trails, this bell gets the attention of people at least 50 feet away. I love the metal on metal ding and it's built pretty solid. It's too bad it has to be mounted with a hex allen key screw, so I can't switch back and forth with my bikes. But at least it can't be stolen easily. My handles and levers did pose a small challenge to securing it, but once installed, it looks good and sounds amazing. Highly recommend this item if you want to be heard. The sound reminds me of Salamanca's bell from breaking bad.
