Bought to replace a broken remote control for my Philips Smart TV 55. No programming required, just had to buy a few batteries and put them in and the remote worked straight away with my TV The build quality is very similar to the factory remote, the only problem is that sometimes I have to press the buttons a little harder than usual to get it to work, but overall it works very well.
