Review on πŸš€ GlowShift Tinted 7 Color 30 PSI Turbo Boost / Vacuum Gauge Kit - Includes Mechanical Hose & T-Fitting - Black Dial - Smoked Lens - For Auto & Truck - 2-1/16" 52mm by Victor Ewing

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Installed on 2017 F150 V8 Supercharged - all fine. The color changing mode is interesting to look at

First of all I would like to thank Damion Aarons for his review. His feedback helped me to complete my project. The installation of this small device took longer than planned. The hose that comes with it is flimsy, cheap and not long enough to reach it. I bought an ICT Billet Straight 1/8 hose barb and hooked it up to my Roush blower. Just behind cylinder 4 (passenger side) is a hex bolt that you remove and screw into the fitting. I then bought a 10 foot 1/8" vacuum hose from an auto parts store and ran it in my cabin. Installing the gauge was a little fiddly. I purchased a Revain universal black GlowShift single column sensor that doesn't fit the F150 column I had to trim a bit to keep the right side of this sleeve from sticking out.Power sources. This part almost made me return the sensor.I extended the wires and connected the headlight and constant power supply to the front fuse box in the engine bay.I saw where you connect the ignition and permanent wires in the steering column.I tried several wires and couldn't get anything to light up on this sensor. My voltmeter didn't work so that was a lot more fun. Finally I have the fuse box in the engine bay connected - constant power amplifier No. 14. The ignition cable is located in the cabin in the fuse ing box on the passenger side. I read the review, a user is connected to dimmer #1, etc. My #1 had no fuse at all, but everything works inside. Strange. The fuse terminal next to it, #23, is where I connected the ignition wire. Headlight wire - I can't find where it goes. I've tried connecting the same fuse that I use for my Morimoto lightbulbs and there is no dimming when the light is turned on. But everything works great. At first my pressure gauge reading seemed dim and difficult to read. I changed my location on the ground and the sensor lit up like a tree. The headlight wire doesn't really matter, it's not that bright. The metering cap is useless. The arrow doesn't point to 0. I'm not sure if that's how it should be. I get about 13psi when I hit the gas so it seems to be working. For the price it's ok.
