I bought this drone because I always wanted to add more skills and variety to my photography and videography, but I didn't want to learn how to fly a drone with a very expensive setup. I bought it to learn the controls and fly, not so much the camera, because the goal is to update it soon. I think this is a great drone for beginners and easy to get started with. The remote is straight and even fits in my phone with the case in the holder which is impressive. It has a headless mode, which is a nice feature for those who are just starting out and don't want to worry about a sense of direction based on the drone's orientation. Easy Take Off & Landing are nice features for people like me with no drone experience. Make sure you fly under the ideal conditions outlined in the instructions. I've had a few accidents and falls from not very high heights (about 6ft) and nothing broke including the prop guard, I think that's why.
