I purchased this step to help my brother, who has some trouble with his feet, get into a Jeep. It was not sturdy enough to hold my brother's weight (even though he was far under the weight limit), as we moved him into the seat. . It broke and could not be fixed. It was not suited for our needs and ended up being a waste of money. I would not use it for helping people with difficulties climbing or ambulating.
