Summary: This tape applies easily, reflects light well and feels durable. Contrasting red and white squares are great for catching attention at night. Highly recommended. Like many people, I bought it to mount on a bike, especially my kids bikes. These are reflector breakers. I'm not sure how they do it, but front reflectors don't last more than a month on their bikes before all that's left is a sad little compression fit with a broken stem. Reflectors usually meet the same fate a little later. So with COVID my kids are driving a lot more than before and are driving later. One evening I went out and found that they were almost invisible. I ordered this tape because I was fed up with buying reflectors. She works? Yes. I don't think it's as good as a reflector in part because I think reflectors simply have a wider spread due to the physical limitations of the band. But still, when even a little light falls directly on it, it has a nice bright glow. I made sure every stem on the bikes has red and white parts because I think the extra contrast helps. I then attached a few pieces to the back of the helmets because adding some reflection points will help riders determine where the bike is. to them. As I was about to insert the tape, I realized that there were several other uses I had overlaid it on. For example, I have a large black luggage rack for four bikes. The problem is that when the rack is attached to my RV it mostly brings the rack to face level. Every time we park the van I have to remember to hang something bright on the counter so I don't accidentally bump into it in the middle of the night when I have to walk around the back of the van to get something. So I put this tape twice long on either side of the arm and now it's much more visible even in very low light.
