Gorgeous but annoying toe seam

Beautiful design and colors. I can feel the toe seam, which is my major issue. Maybe I should have ordered the extra thick because I found the regular texture thin enough for summer with very little cushioning. My shoe size is 7.5 yet these socks only just fit. Nevertheless- the colors are glorious and this is good value for the reduced price. I’ll wear these to liven my winter outfits but not for walking for warmth.

These socks are fine for the material quality, and a good fit. But there is an odd smell. Smells like diesel and mildew. Maybe my packet was in a shipwreck. The smell lingers after at least two washings.
